About the CNGEC:
The aim of the National Geothermal Energy Center of China (CNGEC) is to promote the technological progress and industrial development of geothermal energy in China. The Geothermal Center cooperates closely with research institutes such as Sinopec Exploration Institute and the Academy of Engineering, and shares resources, and cooperates with domestic and foreign scientific research institutes and universities to carry out research and development of core geothermal technologies and cooperation in major projects.
